Position Description
Based in Cleveland, OH, this position for an analyst will be responsible for preparing, analyzing, and interpreting diverse streams of human resources (HR) and operations data across our six restaurant brands to help inform critical labor strategies. They will also help lead analytics for our diversity and inclusion initiatives, a cornerstone of our organizational goals. Reporting to our Manager of Business Intelligence and Reporting, this will be a key role with visibility across the organization and direct access to senior leadership across the brands.
Essential responsibilities include:
- Lead HR analytics across our 6 brands to drive decision-making both centrally and within brands
- Build dashboards in Power BI to help operators and HR leaders visualize trends and understand impacts to the business
- Summarize and synthesize core findings and provide recommendations based on data analysis - presenting to Brand Presidents, Senior operators, Senior HR leaders, and SVP of HR
- Help drive value creation opportunities by evaluating initiatives that can reduce turnover or increase retention of in-store staff
- Drive insights into our diversity and inclusion initiatives to support the Director of Learning and Development
- Serve as an objective thought partner to help pressure test HR and labor strategies
Desired skills and experience:
- History of academic and professional success in analytics and problem solving, with 2-4 years experience (previous HR analytics experience a plus, but not required)
- Strong analytical skills; attention to detail and ability to multi-task and function at a high level under tight deadlines; understanding of statistics preferred
- Strong communicator with ability to collaborate across multiple facets of the business
- Strong Excel skills required; SQL coding, SAP, R/Python, Power BI/other dashboard visualization experience preferred
- Curious mind - naturally asks the "so what?" questions and takes the extra steps to uncover insights from the analysis
- Proven ability to get up to speed quickly on new industries, businesses, and concepts
- Above all else, a self-starter with a positive, team-oriented attitude and sense of humor
