FM Industries has locations in Fremont and Livermore, CA with multiple shift opportunities!
Days: Mon-Fri 6:00am to 2:30pm; Swing: Mon-Fri 2:00pm to 10:30pm; Weekends: Fri-Sun 8am to 8pm
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Responsible for creating part models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings. Work collaboratively with internal and external customers to provide technical solutions while effectively managing process, policy, and strategy changes.
- Conceptualize and create fixtures to support manufacturing using 3D CAD software
- Create manufacturing drawings based off customer models using 3D CAD software
- Create facility layouts using Auto Cad
- Support design reviews to ensure that parts can be manufactured efficiently and in compliance with customer requirements
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in the precision manufacturing industry
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Computer literacy including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & CAD software
- Knowledge of conventional machining processes and equipment (mill, lathe, screw machine, etc.)
- Understanding of secondary processes such as welding, brazing, anodizing, and precision cleaning
