Overview
FMI's Compensation & Rewards group is seeking a skilled and forward-thinking professional with expertise in data modernization, technology leadership, and project management to drive the transformation of its existing technology stack. This individual will lead the overhaul of FMI’s compensation data platform, developing a scalable, modern solution that leverages cutting-edge tools and cloud technologies, while collaborating closely with FMI consultants and engineers. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of leading or supporting digital transformation projects and possesses both technical expertise and strong consulting skills to drive innovation and deliver meaningful results.
This is a hybrid, full-time opportunity based out of one of our offices in either Tampa, FL, Raleigh, NC, or Denver, CO. However, fully remote work will be considered for the right candidate.

Responsibilities
- Lead the modernization and overhaul of FMI’s data platform, transitioning from legacy systems to scalable, cloud-based solutions, and ensure its ongoing optimization, maintenance, and alignment with business needs post-implementation.
- Collaborate with FMI consultants and engineers to assess current workflows and design future-state systems that align with business objectives.
- Maintain and build upon existing data infrastructure, systems, and processes to ensure accurate and timely delivery of data and solutions.
- Provide expertise in SQL database management, supporting cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Salesforce, and O365.
- Utilize Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, Alteryx, Excel, and SQL to process, manage, and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reporting solutions using Tableau, SQL, and Excel, ensuring usability and alignment with stakeholder needs.
- Continuously refine and troubleshoot data workflows to improve accessibility, security, and operational efficiency.
- Function as a key liaison between FMI consultants and technical teams.
- Identify opportunities to enhance data utilization by designing new processes, refining existing methodologies, and expanding data capabilities.
- Prioritize requests from external and internal stakeholders and demonstrate superior customer service.
- Conduct training sessions for internal teams and external clients on data reporting, submission processes, and system functionalities as needed.
- Create and maintain documentation of all FMI compensation survey data processes with critical attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Data Analytics, Business, Management, or Finance).
- Holding a master’s degree in a quantitative field such as an MSBA, Statistics, Data Science, or Data Engineering or any other relevant field is strongly preferred.
- 3 years of experience in relevant roles, such as consulting (management or technology consulting), IT project management, digital strategy, business process optimization, or change management.
- Certifications in Alteryx, Python and Tableau.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and schema design.
- Exceptional quantitative and analytical problem-solving skills with proven experience in data aggregation, interpretation, and visualization.
- Experience with APIs, workflow automation, or scripting for ETL pipelines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a focus on clear descriptions for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.
- Experience in or knowledge of the construction industry is beneficial but not required.
Compensation
- Salary starts at $120K, based on experience, plus bonus.

Salary : $120,000 - $130,000
