This full-time opportunity supports the FMI Chemicals team, requires 10-20% travel and will be based in our Cherry Creek office in Denver, Colorado.

Responsibilities
- Conducting industry, market and company-specific research
- Performing financial analysis, valuation and financial modeling
- Participating in client-engagement meetings
- Developing transaction marketing materials, including pitch books, teasers, confidential information memorandums and management presentations
- Assisting in the execution of M&A transactions, including the preparation and management of virtual data rooms and the coordination of client and third-party due diligence
- Building relationships and maintaining contact with established and prospective clients and professional advisors
- Researching and writing articles for publication in firm and industry journals
- Performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required, major or concentration in business, finance, accounting or related field preferred
- 3 years of investment banking, private equity or transaction accounting experience
- Solid quantitative and analytical skills, including financial accounting, modeling and analysis
- Experience with Pitchbook, S&P Capital IQ, and Deal Cloud is a plus
- Interest in the chemicals industry is preferred
- Experience with chemistry, chemical engineering or the chemical industry is a plus
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to exercise sound independent judgment
- Superior organizational and time management skills, and the ability to efficiently manage multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, problem solving, interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Demonstrated maturity, integrity and the ability to perform in a self-motivated, entrepreneurial environment, both individually and as a team player
Compensation Information
$140K-160K, depending on experience, plus bonus.
