This hybrid, full-time opportunity will be based in our corporate headquarters in Raleigh, North Carolina.

- Partner with hiring managers and key employees across investment banking, consulting, and corporate services teams to develop strong relationships, understand current and future hiring needs, and provide strategic talent acquisition support.
- Develop a deep understanding of FMI’s culture, practices, and roles to effectively engage and provide a high-touch experience for prospective candidates.
- Manage the full lifecycle recruiting process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating hiring decisions while ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
- Manage candidate activity in applicant tracking system (ATS) BambooHR, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other recruitment tools.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and other leaders to define key role requirements, craft effective recruiting strategies, and create structured interview plans to streamline scheduling.
- Lead behavioral-based interviews, assessing candidates' qualifications, experience, and cultural fit while effectively communicating FMI’s value proposition.
- Provide guidance to hiring managers on behavioral interviewing techniques to promote effective, structured, and legally compliant interview processes.
- Consistently follow up with business units and candidates to ensure a smooth and timely recruitment process.
- Deliver quarterly or ad-hoc updates to practice and business unit leaders, providing insights on hiring goals and recruiting metrics.
- Establish and sustain strong partnerships with key talent sources, including colleges, employment agencies, search firms, trade associations, and organizations that support diverse talent, to strengthen the talent pipeline.
- Continuously evaluate and implement best practices in recruiting, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and internal stakeholders.
- Two-year degree from an accredited college or university, 4-year degree preferred.
- 5 years of full-cycle corporate staffing and recruitment experience within a professional services firm preferred. (Prior agency-only experience is not suitable.)
- Strong ability to hire talent at all levels of the organization in investment banking, consulting and similar roles
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) like BambooHR, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Microsoft Office.
- Expertise in sourcing, screening, and engaging high-caliber candidates through direct outreach, networking, and strategic sourcing.
- Skilled in behavioral-based interviewing and candidate assessment best practices.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail with strong administrative and documentation abilities.
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills to engage candidates, hiring managers, and leadership.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to FMI offices in Denver, Tampa, and Houston.
