Job Duties:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist performs various administrative functions within the Human Resources Department including recruiting and retention across the Glenaire Community. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will identify hiring needs, fill job openings, on board new hires, design job descriptions, source candidates through databases and social media, conduct interviews, file paperwork, and keep abreast of employment law and legislation.
- Source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline
- Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications, and performing phone screenings
- Take ownership of candidate experience by designing and managing job postings, job descriptions, and position requirements
- Attend job fairs as scheduled and needed to develop and maintain pipeline of new job candidates. Develop relationships with key contacts at schools for our industry.
- Perform reference checks as need
- Facilitate the offer process by extending the offer and negotiation employment terms
- Manage onboarding and new hire process
- Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices
- Manage the overall interview, selection, and closing process
- Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 2 years of recruiting experience preferred
- Desire to serve senior adults
- Positive outlook
- Ability to take initiative and be detailed oriented
- Working independently and on a team
- Flexible and able to handle a fast pace
- Great communication and customer service skills
