Job Description: MODEL RISK MANAGEMENT – ANALYST As an Analyst within Fidelity Risk’s Model Governance Team, you will play an integral role in implementing Fidelity's Model Risk Management Framework and Policy. By working closely with business and technology partners across Legal, Risk, and Compliance, you will apply their skills to validate models across the Firm, implement model inventory and control standards, and verify adherence to the Model Risk Policy. The Team The Fidelity Enterprise Risk Management Model Governance Team is a Center of Excellence responsible for leading the Model Risk Management Program across Fidelity. We operate as a cross-functional team setting the standards for the firm in relation to model risk and model governance. Key areas of focus include model policy and procedures, model challenges, and criticality assessment. The Expertise You Have 2-3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in model risk or related role (Internal Audit, Technology / Model Development or Operational Risk) Proficiency in Microsoft office tools Proficiency with Python, SQL, or R is preferred The Skills You Bring You have strong analytical and technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail You have strong communication and presentation skills You are comfortable working with all levels of management You work effectively when performing independent work as well as when collaborating with colleagues You are comfortable working on both fast-paced tactical work and longer-term strategic initiatives You have an exceptional sense of curiosity while prioritizing progress over perfection The Value You Deliver Collaborating with the team in the development and implementation of Fidelity’s Model Risk Management Framework and Policy Ensuring thorough identification of all firm-wide models and meta-data to guarantee a standard and challenge for risk ratings Maintaining a comprehensive, centralized, and standardized model documentation, model inventory, and model performance KRIs Build deep working relationships with clients across Fidelity Prepare presentations and written assessments to communicate progresses on model governance projects What will you receive from us? Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors. Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
