GENERAL PURPOSE SUMMARY
Supports the bank’s computer systems and network services by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities:

- Performs system and network administration for specific applications and monitors regular backups.
- Performs user administration for specific applications and performs regular self-audits of application security.
- Installs, operates, updates, upgrades, and maintains microcomputer systems hardware and associated applications in every department of the bank by phone and in person.
- Integrates each system into the FirstNet Wide Area Network, as well as every Local Area Network within the bank, including but not limited to maintenance of various modems and dialup services, CPUs, and software applications.
- Schedules and conducts comprehensive software and hardware training at the internal customer's location.
- Assists in the evaluation of software and hardware to determine compatibility with existing systems and ease of use. Makes recommendations for improvements in microcomputer systems.
- Develops technical application documentation in accordance with established standards and assists department/section/unit heads with the development and maintenance of user documentation.
- Reads technical journals and/or trade publications to build and maintain a working knowledge of new equipment and software as well as compatibility issues with older systems.
- Monitors licensing agreements as required and notifies responsible parties in case of non-compliance with an agreement.
- Performs other work-related duties as assigned by supervisor.
