What are the responsibilities and job description for the Design and Development Coordinator position at Foamcraft?
Foamcraft is the leader in foam fabrication and has been for decades. We are looking for an experienced individual to join our family to provide Office Support as a Design and Development Coordinator.
Starting pay depends on experience. Employees are eligible for additional increases in the first year based on performance. We also pay a $120 bi-weekly perfect attendance incentive for all those who qualify.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Part set-up, bill of materials, and data entry responsibility related to product design and development
- Pattern and program development along with proper organization and distribution of those items to the production floor
- Maintains spec and pricing books in the office
- Coordinates assembly information on the plant floor
- Performs order entry in the computer
- Answers phone, providing exceptional customer service
An ideal candidate will be highly organized with strong computer experience, solid math skills, and an ability to read customer drawings. CAD experience strongly preferred. This role requires someone to be able to change tasks quickly and with ease, and to provide great customer service. The job requires a unique desire and interest to learn the customized nature of the foam fabrication business.
