CNC Router Operator

Position Summary:

This position consists of loading programs on a Biesse CNC and cutting out parts, labeling them, and sorting onto carts. Being aware of tool/bit wear and changing out when necessary for quality upkeep. Logging daily material use for inventory.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Double checking the programs to print
• Checking parts for accuracy and quality
• Receives direction from supervisor and notifies them when more work is needed
• Maintains the area, machinery and tools in a neat, clean and orderly fashion
• Follows all safety procedures, rules and guidelines as well as notifying the supervisor of any potential safety issues
• Removes parts manually and puts them on a cart inspecting for quality or program errors
• Prioritizes HOT jobs as required
• Preforms daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance for cleaning, greasing, and maintaining inventory
• Maintains a working knowledge of the various wood species and differentiate between them
• Fills in other areas as needed

Qualifications:

• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Able to read blueprints
• Able to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Good communication skills
• Being able to adapt to change on short notice
• Attention to detail
• Problem solving skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
