Key Responsibilities
- Oversee supplier quality for metal stamping processes to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Collaborate with suppliers in Asia and Mexico to improve manufacturing quality and resolve issues.
- Conduct supplier audits, process evaluations, and root cause analysis for quality concerns.
- Work closely with internal engineering, manufacturing, and procurement teams to optimize supplier performance.
- Develop and implement corrective actions and continuous improvement strategies for supplier-related issues.
- Ensure all supplier components meet engineering specifications and quality requirements.
- Travel to Asia, McAllen, and El Paso as needed for supplier visits, audits, and technical support.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) experience, specifically in metal stamping.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written).
- Ability to travel internationally to supplier locations.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and root cause analysis.
- Experience with supplier audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience working with global suppliers, particularly in Asia and Mexico.
- Strong understanding of metals, stamping processes, and manufacturing quality standards.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and other quality management systems.
Salary : $120,000 - $130,000
