Position Overview :
The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for ensuring supplier quality, managing supplier relationships, and supporting manufacturing processes across multiple locations, including Asia and Mexico. This role requires fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese and will involve regular travel.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee supplier quality for metal stamping processes to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Collaborate with suppliers in Asia and Mexico to improve manufacturing quality and resolve issues.
- Conduct supplier audits, process evaluations, and root cause analysis for quality concerns.
- Work closely with internal engineering, manufacturing, and procurement teams to optimize supplier performance.
- Develop and implement corrective actions and continuous improvement strategies for supplier-related issues.
- Ensure all supplier components meet engineering specifications and quality requirements.
- Travel to Asia, McAllen, and El Paso as needed for supplier visits, audits, and technical support.
