Job Overview
Under general supervision, this position is responsible for preparation of payroll and maintenance of payroll records for all employees
Duties And Responsibilities
Manage workflows to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely Perform daily payroll department operations
Document and update payroll procedures
Process tax status, direct deposit and miscellaneous changes
Review and analyze payroll hours/reports for accuracy and make necessary corrections Perform periodic internal audits of payments
Maintain current knowledge of IRS regulations
Work with HRIS and Support Center to troubleshoot/resolve issues
Act as front line Support for HR by performing customer service functions such as answering employee requests and questions
Perform safe work practices and participate in trainings and safety programs in a positive and proactive way by following safety rules, procedures, regulations, standards and laws. Report all unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and injuries to supervisor or Human Resources.
Work safely 100% of the time.

Minimum level of education
(Note: Engineering and/or IT MUST require technical degrees)
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in (Choose all the apply):

Or related area or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Professional Experience
A minimum of three (3) years' of relevant professional experience in the following area(s):
Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits
Required Skills

Working knowledge for ERP systems (i.e. PeopleSoft) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Windows Applications
Preferred Skills
(These skills are not essential but useful)
Certified Payroll Professional
Salary: $20 - $28 per hour
