- Evaluate injection molding process and tooling for improvement of quality and efficiency.
- Participate in new tool design reviews and recommend improvements to optimize molding, setup, and overall manufacturing.
- Develop and document injection molding process parameters for new and existing thermoset and thermoplastic molds.
- Troubleshoot molding processes and material issues.
- Collect and analyze data for process improvements
- College degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience in Plastics / Plastics Technology.
- 5 years hands-on experience with plastic mold tooling.
- Broad range of plastic materials
- Working knowledge of a wide range of thermoplastic and thermoset materials and their properties.
- Familiarity with injection molding processing.
- Technical knowledge of injection molding machines and related equipment.
- Self-motivated.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with an attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
