Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Power Platform Developer to join our Energy client in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and implementing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, with a focus on automating business processes and improving operational efficiency within the Oil & Gas sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and maintain applications using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents.
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Azure services, and third-party applications.
- Design and develop custom connectors, APIs, and data models to support business applications.
- Automate workflows and processes to enhance efficiency in upstream, midstream, and downstream operations.
- Develop interactive and insightful dashboards and reports using Power BI to support decision-making.
- Ensure security, governance, and compliance standards are met when designing solutions.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing Power Platform applications for better performance.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable, user-friendly solutions.
- Provide end-user training and support to enhance adoption of Power Platform applications.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 3 years of experience working with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents).
- Experience in data modeling, API integration, and Microsoft Dataverse.
- Strong knowledge of Power Fx, JavaScript, JSON, and other scripting languages.
- Familiarity with Azure Logic Apps, SQL, SharePoint, and cloud-based services.
- Experience working in the Oil & Gas industry with an understanding of operational processes and challenges.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft Power Platform certifications.
- Experience with AI Builder, RPA, and advanced Power BI analytics.
- Knowledge of IoT, predictive analytics, and digital transformation initiatives in Oil & Gas.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
