Job Description:
MRI Technologist
A motivated and energetic MRI Technologist is needed for a 13-week contract assignment in Rock Springs, Wyoming.
Responsibilities:
- Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
- Under the direction of the Chief of Radiology and Imaging Services Director, perform technological functions to ensure optimal diagnostic quality of patient care.
- Interview patients to explain MRI procedures and address concerns while maintaining a high level of tact, courtesy, and poise.
- Educate new hires, students, and trainees on MRI operations and safety protocols.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a MRI Technologist with continuous recent experience.
- Proficiency in all duties required of a MRI Technologist II.
- Knowledge of required protocols in performing complex MRI procedures.
- Ability to learn applications relevant to the position.
