Human Resources Manager
Responsible for leading and coordinating HR functions such as: staffing, training and development, benefits, and employee relations. Responsible for ensuring all company policies and procedures are in accordance with local, state, and federal laws.
Duties and Responsibilities
Maintains positive employee relations by creating a responsive, open environment and being available to employees to facilitate open and continuous communication; coaches others on techniques used to establish and maintain positive employee relations.
Conducts and documents internal investigations into employee complaints.
Owns HR policies for the manufacturing facilities, such as being responsible for creating, updating, and implementing policies, as needed.
Actively manages worker's compensation claims.
Ensures compliance with regulatory activities such as EEO, OSHA, WC, Unemployment, FMLA, and FLSA.
Leads the implementation of new developments in HR regarding compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines relating to all employment practices.
Coordinates and facilitates counseling and corrective action programs for employees. Conducts training with location leadership to ensure performance plans are set, maintained, and continuously improved.
Works with managers to identify staffing needs and develops recruiting plan to fill open positions.
Responsible for writing job descriptions as necessary.
Responsible for conducting new hire orientation for all staff.
Responsible for handling unemployment claims and reconcile garnishments.
Responsible for processing payroll and knowledge of HR software services.
Participates in continuing education via HR seminars, SHRM/HRCI, etc.
Maintains all employees’ files.
Organizes employee events.
Other duties as required by HR Director

This position manages an HR department staff.
Required Education and Experience
Three years’ experience in Human Resources management
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Preferred Eligibility Qualifications
SHRM/HRCI certification
Bi-lingual (Spanish) is highly preferred

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
