Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
COMPENSATION: Pays up to $72 per hour
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The BCBA will provide consultation, training, conduct behavioral evaluations, and develop/implement behavior intervention plans for individuals with academic and behavioral deficits. The BCBA will act as a clinical teacher who educates, observes, assesses, and supervises educational activities and behavioral service delivery in the school setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and a proven track record of developing and implementing effective behavior intervention plans.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and educational assessments to accurately identify the function of challenging behaviors and socially valid, pivotal behaviors to target.
- Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with school staff, providing training to implement effective applied behavior analysis techniques.
- Provide ongoing support and training to related field staff, ensuring treatment integrity and supporting professional growth.
- Investigate concerns and provide coaching and disciplinary action when appropriate.
- Develop behavior goals according to the needs and abilities of the student.
- Determine prevention, intervention, and consequence strategies utilizing non-aversive behavior change methods.
- Collect, analyze, and report data and other documentation within established time frames to ensure program validity and efficacy per contract guidelines.
- Attend and present behavioral progress at IEP meetings.
- Act as a clinical teacher who educates, observes, assesses, and supervises educational activities and behavioral service delivery in the school setting.
Qualifications:
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Master’s degree in applied behavior analysis, teaching, psychology, or a related field.
- Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
- Current CPR certification (if applicable).
- TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray (if applicable).
- Current Health Certificate (per contract or state regulation).
- Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.
- Successful completion of new hire training as applicable to the job site.
- Understand patient confidentiality and HIPAA requirements.
- Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, and clients) via strong communication skills; proficiency in the English language is required.
- Computer proficiency required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
