FocusKPI, Inc. is looking for a Recruiting/HR Coordinator Intern to work to support our recruiting/ staffing business.
This program provides hands-on experience with real-world HR and recruiting support on a day-to-day basis and contributing to the development of HR and recruiting functions in a phase of organizational growth and development.
Exceptional performance during the program may lead to a paid internship opportunity, setting the stage for a promising career in Recruiting/ HR.
Responsibilities:
- Identify candidates, and pipelining quality candidates
- Post positions on various job boards as required
- Coach candidates on best practice interviewing
- Negotiate offers and closing
- Track requisitions and candidates, including metrics and reporting
- Provide guidance and answering questions related to processes and contacts for temporary hiring
- Build strategic sourcing pipelines with key individuals, both internal and external to the company, with significant social networks and insightful recommendations for top talent
- Expand our referral efforts, attend related events and generate sourcing campaigns
- Enter data into the database or HR system for maintaining accurate records.
- Maintain HR department records, ensuring complete accuracy and confidentiality.
- Communicates with employees about their personnel documentation and answers specific HR questions of employees.
- Help with new hire onboarding, which includes issuing the offer letter, triggering the background check, and all onboarding procedures.
Required Experience:
- 1-2 years recruiting for data scientist, data analyst, data engineers, etc.
- Bachelor degree, technical background are plus
- Proven ability to attract top talent using non-traditional recruitment methods
- Ability to build relationships with candidates, clients and employees
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and be highly proactive
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
- Bilingual Mandarin-speaking is a plus
- Worked in the high tech industry, a plus
