Position Overview:
We are seeking a professional, organized, and enthusiastic Front Office Coordinator to join our growing team. As the first point of contact, you’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our patients and ensuring our office operations run smoothly. Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a welcoming experience
- Schedule and confirm appointments, optimizing the office’s calendar to ensure efficiency
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls appropriately
- Manage patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Process billing and insurance claims accurately
- Handle patient payments, co-pays, and provide billing explanations
- Coordinate with dental assistants, hygienists, and doctors to maintain smooth workflow
- Monitor office supplies and maintain a tidy reception area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a dental or medical front office setting is preferred
- Strong knowledge of dental insurance and billing practices
- Proficiency in dental software (experience with Dentrix or similar systems is a plus)
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment
