Massage Therapist - Spa

Job Overview: As a Hotel Massage Therapist, you will provide exceptional massage therapy services to guests, ensuring a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. You will assess individual guest needs, create personalized treatment plans, and deliver high-quality therapeutic and relaxation massages while maintaining a professional and welcoming atmosphere.   Key Responsibilities Overview:   Guest Consultations: Conduct consultations with guests to understand their preferences, health history and goals, and recommend personalized massage treatment plans.   Massage Services: Perform a variety of professional massage techniques and body treatments tailored to each guest for a relaxing and therapeutic experience.   Facility Maintenance: Ensure therapy rooms and equipment are clean, organized, and properly sanitized to create a serene environment for guests.   Professional Development: Stay updated on industry trends through ongoing education and training and participate in regular staff meetings.   Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest questions and concerns promptly and professionally, reflecting the hotel’s commitment to excellence.   Health and Safety Compliance: Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards while maintaining accurate records of guest treatments.   Company Policies Compliance: Adhere to company policies, including professionalism, time & attendance, meal & rest breaks, grooming standards, and professional code of conduct, etc.   Professionalism: Maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions, demonstrating respect, integrity, and a positive attitude.   Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with spa and wellness team members to coordinate services and promote spa offerings while supporting special events.   Qualifications: Candidates must have a valid certificate of completion from a recognized massage therapy program and at least one year of experience, preferably in a spa or hotel setting. Strong communication skills and knowledge of human anatomy as well as demonstrated proficiency in various massage techniques and modalities are essential.   Working Conditions: Work in a fast-paced spa environment with exposure to heat, steam, and noise. A flexible schedule is required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The role involves standing for extended periods and performing physically demanding tasks and massage therapy techniques with precision and control and maintaining a commitment to safety and efficiency while providing exceptional service.   This job description outlines the essential responsibilities and qualifications for the role.
