What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vice President - Energy Sales position at Foley Equipment?
The Vice President - Energy Sales is responsible for all facets of Power Solutions sales and rental. In this role, you will oversee activities of all personnel involved in Power Solutions sales and rental.
What You Will Do in This Role:
- Manage market share, revenue growth, and profitability.
- Fully understand trends in the energy / data center industry and create strategic plans accordingly.
- Direct and assist Power Solutions sales management team.
- Manage proper inventories for those markets and proper turnover to ensure profitability.
- Develop and implement the Power Solutions sales marketing plan and forecasts.
- Implement Power Solutions sales policies.
- Work with the Parts and Service departments to ensure proper company representation.
- Prepare and manage budgets. Manage and monitor all Power Solutions sales management personnel and departmental expenses.
- Assist the Power Solutions sales force with trade values, and pricing of new and used inventory.
- Plan and assign training and follow-up on Power Solutions issues.
- Help monitor Power Solutions sales rep. performance on: coverage, GP, sales volume, and overall performance.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- 6 years of experience in the power solutions business i.e. data centers, generators, renewable energy, etc
- 5 years prior sales and/or sales management experience
- Previous management of people - with a proven track record of positive employee relations and staff development
- Ability to be proactive and strategic, as well as tactical
What Will Put You Ahead:
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field
- Power Solutions sales, inventory control, forecasting, ordering, and terms management experience
- Proven experience in marketing, marketing plans and related activities
