Job Summary:
This position is ideal for someone interested in pursuing a career in the winemaking industry. We are looking for individuals who are energetic, want to learn, enjoy the winemaking process and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Requires work schedule flexibility.
*This is a temporary position; the anticipated length of employment is August through November 2025*
In addition to the $500 sign-on bonus paid (minus applicable taxes) at the end of your internship, we also provide some meals!
\n- Harvest Lab Interns will assist with:
- Analysis of grape samples for brix, pH, and TA
- Daily brix and temperature checks on fermenting lots
- Daily set-up and calibration of laboratory equipment
- Sampling and analysis of juice and/or wine lots
- Set-up various wine trials as requested by winemaking
- Support winemaking protocols
- A BS or BA degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology or enology is required.
- Actual chemistry experience is preferred, and previous winery experience is a plus.
- Must have excellent organizational skills with an attention to detail.
- Must be computer literate (Word and Excel) with excellent reasoning abilities and outstanding communication skills.
