The Boston Office of Foley Hoag LLP seeks an energetic and detail-oriented case assistant to work with the attorneys in the area of intellectual property litigation. The case assistant will provide critical administrative support and demonstrate the ability to juggle competing priorities in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate for this role will communicate with professionalism and confidentiality, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate resourcefulness, sound judgment, and flexibility.
Responsibilities
- Assist with preparation for depositions, court hearings and trial
- Assist with document collection and production
- Maintain and organize electronic and hard copy client files
- Assist with preparation and electronic filing of court documents
- Monitor the status of court and agency proceedings
- Perform discrete research projects and additional tasks as requested by lawyers
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Paralegal Certificate a plus but not required
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong research skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
- Strong attention to detail
- Technical Proficiency in MS Office Suite

Compensation range is $50,000 to $63,000 commensurate with related experience and qualification. The salary of the candidate selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to internal equity, experience, specialty, and training. The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the firm's reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
