The Real Estate Specialist will support the Director, Real Estate and the Chief Real Estate & Procurement Officer, providing analysis and administrative support for a broad range of real estate activity for the firm’s 26 office locations. Works collaboratively to develop real estate occupancy budgets and multi- year capital budgets. Responsible for monthly budget reforecasts and administers all Landlord and sublease invoices working closely with the firm's finance department. Maintains an in-depth knowledge of office real estate practices and requirements to review annual Landlord Operating Expense and Real Estate Tax statements for accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain lease and real estate portfolio administration system
- Manage firm lease and sub-lease reporting, ensuring accurate accounting data and abstracts all leases and subleases to create key date notifications.
- Maintain all firm original / record lease and sublease files and real estate documentation
- Review, process and approve monthly Landlord rent invoices ensuring accuracy to lease.
- Review, process and approve monthly Subtenant rent invoices ensuring accuracy to sublease.
- Develop and maintain occupancy & capital budgets
- Provide monthly budget reconciliations & forecasting
- Perform internal audits and compliance verifications for all lease and project payments
- Coordinate property and casualty insurance requirements
- Provide lease management support to include formal lease audit activities
- Assist in the preparation of national vendor contract proposals
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance Real Estate Property Management or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a business analyst, real estate analyst or related role required
- Previous large law firm or professional services firm administration experience #LI-HYBRID
Pursuant to the Washington DC Pay Transparency Law, the salary range for this Washington DC based position is between $96,600 - $144,900. These figures represent the full compensation range of this position. The actual offered amount will be determined based on the following factors: education, experience, geographic market, and internal pay equity at Foley. #LI-Hybrid
