Foley & Lardner LLP is seeking a Supervisor, Office Operations to join our Denver office. This leadership position is responsible for assisting the Director, Regional Administration and Operations (DAO) in daily office administration, problem-solving and dispute resolution by addressing issues raised by attorneys and business professionals. The right candidate will also be responsible for implementing and administering firm policies and procedures and recommending changes as local conditions require.
Responsibilities
- Assist DAO in overseeing general office operations, budget, and facilities management
- Provide guidance and supervision to legal and administrative Assistants
- Review and approve direct reports’ weekly timesheets and PTO requests; coordinate workflow to provide adequate coverage during planned/unplanned absences
- Assist in finding solutions to work overflow problems
- Prepare annual performance appraisals and conduct review meetings with direct reports
- Coordinate onboarding process and conduct orientation and training for all new hires
- Coordinate and oversee social programs to include milestone acknowledgements, staff appreciation, wellness events, holiday events and all other social and community events
- Facilitate “best practices” through business professional office meetings and cross-office sharing
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in an office administration or human resources position required
- Prior experience supervising a team required
- Prior law firm experience strongly preferred #LI-Onsite
Pursuant to the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this Denver based position is between $99,500 - $149,300. These figures represent the full compensation range of this position. The actual offered amount will be determined based on the following factors: education, experience, geographic market, and internal pay equity at Foley. We are accepting ongoing applications.
