Foley & Lardner LLP is currently seeking a Senior Treasury Manager to join our Accounting & Finance team! The Senior Manager will manage cash related functions for the firm including cash application and trust activity, short-term investing and borrowing, wire payments, cash reporting and forecasting, bank account maintenance, and bank relationship management. A successful candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, be detail orientated, be able to lead and motivate a team, and possess a collaborative approach to problem solving.
Responsibilities
Responsible for proactive daily cash management, which includes forecasting the firm's cash position, and related investing and borrowing needs.
- Manage day-to-day cash movements, bank account openings / closings and account reconciliations.
- Oversee the Treasury team, including those responsible for accurately and timely applying client payments.
- Ensure trust transactions are in compliance with state bar rules.
- Maintain relationships across the banking community including corporate bankers, bank operational counterparts as well as treasury infrastructure and technology providers.
- Has accountability for the performance and results of the team. Provide leadership support to staff to achieve department goals through effective coaching, mentoring and career development.
- Collaborate on processes and procedures with other departments and lead process improvement initiatives. Participate and direct special projects related to process implementation, automation, and reporting as needed.
Qualifications
Pursuant to the Illinois Equity Pay Act the salary range for this Chicago based position is between $131,300 - $214,300. These figures represent the full compensation range of this position. The actual offered amount will be determined based on the following factors : education, experience, geographic market, and internal pay equity at Foley.
