We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Receptionist to join our team! Folsom Veterinary Hospital has been serving the town of Folsom for 50 years. Duties
- Greet clients and their pets warmly and assist them with check-in procedures
- Schedule appointments and manage the veterinary clinic's calendar
- Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries from clients regarding appointments, services, and general information
- Process payments and handle billing inquiries
- Maintain accurate records of patient information in the system
- Assist with animal handling and restraint when necessary
- Coordinate with veterinary staff to ensure smooth patient flow
Skills
- Experience in animal husbandry, pet care, or related fields is preferred
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in medical collection and record-keeping
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures and equipment
- Comfortable with animal grooming or dog training is advantageous

Pay: $37,440.00 - $41,600.00 per year
