What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Golf Course Bartender and Beverage Cart position at Fond du Lac County, WI?
Part or Full Time Seasonal Golf Course Bartenders and Beverage Cart Operators open for the 2025 golf season.
We expect candidates to work an average of 15 to 35 hour per week through the April to October golf season. We realize some students may only be available the summer months. We can offer flexible scheduling, but evening and weekend work should be expected. Employees regularly receive tips.
The golf course provides drinks in the form of soda, Gatorade, beer and a full line of fermented malt beverages. The golf course menu includes pizza, burgers, brats, wings, fries and other finger foods.
Candidates can expect to perform a variety of bar and grill customer service tasks including but not limited to:
- Serve beverages and food to outings and daily players.
- Prepare food and snacks with a deep fryer, grill and pizza oven.
- Carry on conversations with golfers.
- Clean and organize work areas.
- Assist in the golf shop with golfer check-in and making tee times.
Candidates should be able to:
- Obtain a bartender/operator license.
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, supervisors and the public customers.
- Work independently and in a team environment.
- Stand, walk, bend, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push/pull and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Understand food safety rules and regulations.
- Understand the game of golf and the golf course layout to safely and efficiently work on the golf course.
- Candidates should be 18 years old.
