POSITION OVERVIEW

The Vice President of Technology and Systems will lead the development and implementation of our technology strategy and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of technology, including infrastructure, software development, and systems integration.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary :

  • Develop and implement the organization's technology strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of technology systems, ensuring high-quality, efficient, and scalable solutions.
  • Develop and manage technology budgets and forecast financial results.
  • Ensure technology systems are secure and in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with technology vendors and partners.
  • Lead the technology team, providing guidance, coaching, and training to ensure high levels of performance and employee engagement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and develop solutions that improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
  • Monitor and analyze industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the organization stays ahead of the curve.
  • Provide strategic direction and guidance on major technology projects and initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and accountability.
  • Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; and / or equivalent combination of education and experience; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in technology leadership, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of technology systems, infrastructure, software development, and systems integration.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate a diverse team of managers and Members.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful technology strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Strong financial acumen, including experience managing budgets and forecasting financial results.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders to achieve organizational goals.
  • A commitment to innovation, continuous improvement, and delivering high-quality technology solutions.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent leadership, prioritization, and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to provide leadership and direction contributing to the success of the organization through engaging, developing, and mentoring individuals and teams.
  • Ability to effectively achieve business unit goals and objectives by implementing strategic and operational plans, budgets, and best practices; and monitoring and evaluating results.
  • Ability to actively influence and drive collaboration with individuals or groups at various levels within and outside of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability in maintaining consistent, high-quality service levels.
  • Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to organize effectively, delegate responsibility, solve problems quickly, and communicate clearly.
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive guest and company information.
  • Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule to include nights and weekends.
  • Work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment.
  • SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    This position supervises all positions within the Technology and Systems function of the IT department.

    Member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.

    LANGUAGE SKILLS

    Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.

    REASONING ABILITY

    Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

    While performing the duties of this job, the Member is regularly required to stand and use hands and fingers to handle or utilize objects, tools, or controls. The Member frequently is required to reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral vision.

    The Member must regularly lift and / or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and / or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT

    The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a Member encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.     Member could be exposed to an environment containing unrestricted secondhand tobacco smoke.
