Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that all areas meet our high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a welcoming environment for both guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and adherence to quality standards.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and customer service excellence.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that all necessary materials are available for staff.
• Develop and implement housekeeping policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
• Address guest inquiries or complaints regarding cleanliness in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations within the hotel or facility.
• Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including staff schedules, supply usage, and maintenance requests.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial services is required.
• Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and floor care practices.
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and staff.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• A background in hospitality is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
