Saturn Fasteners, Inc.JOB DESCRIPTIONShop Hourly PositionJOB TITLE:Header Operator IIIJOB CODE: PLANT LOCATION:Saturn Fasteners, Inc.PAY TIER: Date Created / Updated:  GENERAL SUMMARY OF THE JOB Write two to three sentences outlining the general purpose and significant responsibilities of the job: Sets up and operates multi-operation headers, performs daily operationson header machines such as National, Bliss, Waterbury ,HiPro, and Jernyo PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESList in order of importance the principal duties and responsibilities of the job:1.Reviews work order to determine set up, tooling and specifications of parts.2.Prepares and aligns raw material for production run.3.Prepare machine for production by positioning and securing dies. 4.Regulate machine by setting and adjusting controls. 5.Maintain specifications by observing operations and checking for malfunctions while inspecting the parts. 6.Observe operation of production run and make adjustments to ensure pieces meet all specifications. 7.Set Heat on machine heaters. 8.Document actions by completing production and quality logs.    EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully. Oral Communication - Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; Listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions. Written Communication - Writes clearly and informatively; Presents numerical data effectively; Able to read and interpret written information. Organizational Support - Follows policies and procedures; Completes administrative tasks correctly and on time. Judgment - Displays willingness to make decisions; Exhibits sound and accurate judgment; Supports and explains reasoning for decisions; Includes appropriate people in decision-making process; Makes timely decisions. Planning/Organizing - Prioritizes and plans work activities; Uses time efficiently; Plans for additional resources. Quality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; Looks for ways to improve and promote quality; Applies feedback to improve performance; Monitors own work to ensure quality. Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time; Ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent. Dependability - Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions; Keeps commitments.  QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
