Job purpose :
The Senior HR Generalist will be a key player within the Human Resources team, primarily focusing on talent acquisition and onboarding. This position is essential for identifying, attracting, and seamlessly integrating talent to support the organization’s growth objectives. In addition to talent acquisition, this role will contribute to strategic HR initiatives, performance management, compliance, training, and employee engagement.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Participate in the full recruitment lifecycle, including screening, interviewing, scheduling, and offer negotiations.
- Research and recommend recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates for a variety of roles, with a focus on healthcare and clinical positions.
- Partner with hiring managers and designated HR Business Partner to understand workforce needs and create job descriptions, postings, and sourcing strategies.
- Proactively source candidates using various channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and employee referrals.
- Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a positive experience and proper preparation for success.
- Conduct orientation sessions to introduce new employees to company policies, culture, and resources.
- Collaborate with team leaders to develop tailored onboarding plans for specialized roles.
- Assist in developing and implementing HR initiatives that support the organization’s growth, employee engagement, and retention strategies.
- Serve as a resource for HR-related inquiries, providing guidance on policies, procedures, and compliance.
- Support performance management and training programs as needed.
- Contribute to the refinement of recruitment strategies based on market trends and organizational objectives.
- Assess and implement improvements to the onboarding and orientation process for new hires.
- Support company communications such as new hire announcements and company newsletters.
- Research and implement programs to improve the employee experience.
- Monitor and track required certifications and training to ensure adherence to company and legal standards.
- Complete employment verifications and respond to EDD claims as needed.
- Maintain employee records and onboarding documents.
- Create and run reports to track HR metrics and provide actionable insights.
- Learn and apply knowledge relating to employee relations and performance management.
- Support the HR team by leading and executing various projects while providing day-to-day assistance to ensure smooth operations.
