Description: The objective of this position is to create a Delivery Operations Center that will provide continuous improvement and enhanced visibility of all delivery operations.
Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - 4PM to 2 AM
Salary 150K
Required skills & Abilities:
- Strong working Knowledge of FMCSA, DOT, SQF
- Demonstrated proficiency in leading large teams
- Bi-lingual a plus; Spanish

- Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook/technically savvy (Scanning, Samsara, Routing Tools)
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow all safety protocols
Physical requirements:

Minimum Delivery Operations Manager Requirements:
- 18 years of age or older
- A minimum of 10 years in fleet supervisory/transportation role

- Daily/Weekly Routing Effectiveness
- Route Efficiency and Continuous Improvement
- Plan schedules and labor allocation
- Daily Call with each operation to review dispatch plan, execution issues
- Routing software administration
- Evolve real-time dashboards and visibility of performance(issues)
- Samsara real-time issue management
- Samsara corrective action management
- Samsara HOS management and issue resolution
- Real Time Troubleshooting for example, in-filed issues with EPOD/Scanning
- DVER/DVIR Collection Execution and follow-up with vendors
- Equipment Breakdowns and follow-up with vendors
- Route assistance assist field leaders to resolve route issues real-time
- Track call outs adjust schedules as necessary
- Provide HR with feedback on late call outs for disciplinary actions
- Central number to report accidents/injuries/drug testing needs
- Ensure proper truck loads to insure weight, time, and cube compliance
- Manage overnight staff
