Position Title: Service Insights Coordinator
Department: Community Impact
FLSA Status: Full Time Hourly/Non-Exempt
Schedule: 40 Hours per Week/Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm (Includes 30-minute unpaid meal break). This schedule may vary and include nights and weekends, depending on distribution and hours of partner agencies.

WHO WE ARE:
Food Bank of Central New York is a not-for-profit organization leading the effort to eliminate hunger in our region, by partnership with others in our community, through education, advocacy, and distribution of nutritious food. We partner with 360 community partners in the counties of Cayuga, Chenango, Cortland, Herkimer, Jefferson, Lewis, Madison, Oneida, Onondaga, Oswego, and St. Lawrence.
The core of our work is achieved by partnering with local agencies that distribute food to individuals and families in need. The key partners that make up our emergency food network are food pantries, soup kitchens, and emergency shelters. Other not-for-profit agencies such as day care centers, rehabilitation centers, senior centers, and group homes are able to utilize membership as a way to supplement their agency food needs.

Hunger is a very serious problem in the United States today. Despite its great wealth, an estimated one in eight Americans rely on emergency food assistance. Among the thousands of people who depend on charitable food programs in central and northern New York, and the Mohawk Valley:
· 29% are children 18 or younger
· 10% are without health insurance
· 68% have been unemployed for more than two years
· 32% have a working family member
· 91% are below the federal poverty line
41% earn less than $12,000 annually
POSITION SUMMARY
The Service Insights Coordinator oversees the administration and daily operations of the Service Insights system, collaborating with partner agencies to implement, train, and maximize data-driven service delivery. This role ensures data integrity, generates actionable reports for strategic decision-making, and acts as a liaison to enhance system functionality. The position requires system management experience, analytical skills, and a commitment to fostering collaboration and respect within the community.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Work as part of the team that implements the daily operation and administration of the Service Insights system used by partner agencies.
- Implement Service Insights with partner agencies.
- Provide training and support to partner agencies to maximize the use of Service Insights for data collection and service delivery insights.
- Adhere to policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and security within Service Insights.
- Coordinate with internal teams to enhance Service Insights functionality and user experience based on feedback from partner agencies.
- Generate and distribute regular reports analyzing service delivery data to assist in decision-making and strategic planning.
- Act as a liaison between the Food Bank and partner agencies to facilitate communication and resolve any Service Insights-related issues.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Primarily office-based; must be able to operate standard office equipment including computers, printers, and phones.
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods while using a computer.
- Often required to visit partner agency sites which will involve travel through our 11-county service area.

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, preferred.
- This position will receive a pre-employment background check. Food Bank of Central New York complies with all applicable state and federal laws pertaining to drug testing and background checks, including Article 23-A.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in training and supporting system users, managing data, and producing reports.
- Proven track record of improving processes through technology solutions.
