Compensation: $66,800 - $69,000 Annually

The Operations Manager is responsible for managing the Volunteer Operations, Transportation, Safety & Maintenance, and Fresh Food Center (FFC) people and processes. Leads the operations department in accordance with FBR and Feeding America (FA) specifications.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Own results for Safety, AIB Compliance, and overall warehouse maintenance strategy
- Lead and manage teams across key functional areas including volunteer operations, transportation, and the Fresh Food Center with a strong focus on outstanding customer service.
- Manage transportation department outcomes, including routing design, fleet management, DOT compliance, and driver supervision through a supervisor.
- Manages volunteer operations and daily activity to ensure overall volunteer success and outcomes.
- Manages Dehydrator Department and volunteers to maintain equipment and product dehydration processes.
- Maintain orderly Fresh Food Center to ensure efficient storage and distribution line along with excellent customer service to Hunger Relief Partners.
- Manage the development, implementation, and maintenance of a comprehensive safety program for employees and volunteers.
- Responsible for maintaining food industry standards for safety, proper product handling, storage, and warehouse sanitation along with educating staff.
- In conjunction with the Development department, coordinate volunteer efforts in warehouse/building and grounds.
- Oversees the maintenance of building, equipment, and grounds; ensure all required inspections and sanitation schedules as set by company, regulatory or other agencies are adhered to.
- Prepare annual budget in cooperation with Western Slope Director.
- Fiscal management of Western Slope Operations: manages department’s P&L and process/approve vendor invoices
- As needed, attend outside networking opportunities to develop, and encourage resource building and sharing within the community.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and care, ensuring the privacy and respect of employees, volunteers, partners, donors, or others

Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience
- 5-7 years’ experience in warehouse operations; non-profit experience a plus
- 2 years supervisory experience
- Extensive experience using Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management systems
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
Expected Hours of Work:
This is an exempt, full-time position. Work schedules may vary each week and consist of weekdays, evenings, and Saturdays.

$66,800 - $69,000 Annually up to 6% annual bonus
