We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Food City.
About the Role:
- Cut, trim, chop and grind meat and seafood products
- Tray and wrap product to display it for customers
- Maintain a variety of high-quality, fresh product for customers
- Handle freight, organize coolers, and assist with ordering product
- Operate electric meat saws, grinders and other meat processing equipment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a clean and organized store environment
- Ensure accurate pricing and labeling of products
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to achieving store goals
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a butcher or meat cutter is an asset
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
