At Food For The Poor, we are committed to serving the poorest of the poor. To support this mission, we are seeking an HR Operations Specialist to play a key role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our HR processes, systems, and team members' experiences.
This role requires strong knowledge of HRIS platforms (Paycom), as well as experience with benefits coordination, new hire onboarding, and HR process management. As a vital link between team members, HR leadership, and internal systems, you will ensure that HR operations remain efficient, compliant, and employee-focused.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining, updating, and optimizing HRIS system (Paycom) for data accuracy and system efficiency
- Generating reports and dashboards for HR metrics, compliance, and leadership review
- Providing technical support and training to team members and managers on HRIS functionalities
- Supporting system upgrades, integrations, and troubleshooting with IT as needed
In addition, you will conduct New Hire Orientation and facilitate onboarding, ensuring that new employees have a seamless and engaging introduction to the organization. You will also support internal team member communication mechanisms, helping to keep employees informed about HR policies, company initiatives, and engagement programs.
