Job Description: As a Customer Service Representative at Food Lion, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our stores. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that our facilities meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service by being attentive, helpful, and knowledgeable about our products and services
- Clean and maintain store areas, including the mop room, produce, market, and deli departments
- Collaborate with other associates to achieve team goals and objectives
- Identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Follow established QA daily checklists and sanitation standards
- Understand and adhere to company guidelines, policies, and standard practices
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Wear the Food Lion uniform complete with name badge when on duty, and maintain a neat and clean appearance while adhering to the Food Lion dress code
- Complete required training programs, including Computer Based Training (CBT) and Training Aid courses
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job
- Ability to use technical information to solve problems
