QA Coordinator

We are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our growing team!

Job Summary

In this key role, you will assist in executing daily functions of Quality Assurance and manage documentation for the quality system.

Essential Responsibilities

• Executes the daily functions of QA as directed by the QA Supervisor and/or QA/Technical Director.
• Prepares, track and review all QA documentation required to maintain the Quality Management System.
• Assist in reviewing test reports and completing OOS investigations.
• Works directly with lab personnel to ensure proper documentation & labeling are enforced routinely in the laboratories.
• Support QA team for audit preparation
• Routinely audit laboratories to ensure compliance to GLP’s, ISO & GMP requirements limited to testing.
• Assist in preparing Standard Operating Procedure(s) and execute revisions as needed.
• Coordinate & maintain Document & Equipment Change Control procedures.
• Assist with facilitating external/client & regulatory audits.
• Will oversee all equipment management including scheduling third party vendors for service, organization of document of equipment, and performs equipment verifications as needed.
• Complete all customer supplied QA questionnaires or quality documentation requests.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• High School degree/equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in science related field is preferred.
• A minimum of two years’ experience in Quality Assurance within the cosmetic, nutritional, or pharmaceutical industries is required.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to adapt to changes to improve company process is required.
• Customer orientation and ability to respond to different types of characters.
• Assist in reviewing test reports and completing OOS investigations.
• Work directly with lab personnel to ensure proper documentation & labeling are enforced routinely in the laboratories.
• Coordinate equipment calibration & maintenance, equipment verifications as directed.
• Routinely audit laboratories to ensure compliance to GLP’s, ISO, & GMP requirements limited to testing.
• Coordinate & maintain Document & Equipment Change Control procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
