ABOUT THE ROLE
We seek a highly analytical and strategic Revenue, Pricing, and Yield Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you will optimize advertising revenue streams, pricing strategies, and yield management practices across multiple channels, including direct ad sales, programmatic advertising, and affiliate partnerships. Your insights and recommendations will be crucial to scaling our business and maximizing monetization opportunities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ad Sales Analytics:
- Partner with sales and account management teams to develop pricing strategies and performance benchmarks.
- Evaluate campaign performance and ROI, providing actionable insights for future sales efforts.
- Maintain competitive analysis and market benchmarking to support informed pricing strategies.
Yield Optimization:
- Analyze inventory usage and demand patterns to maximize fill rates and CPMs.
- Implement yield management strategies for direct and programmatic channels.
- Optimize ad placements, formats, and delivery methods to enhance revenue while maintaining user experience.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Develop and maintain dashboards for revenue tracking and reporting.
- Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports with clear insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with finance, product, and technology teams to support data-driven decision-making.
Revenue Management:
- Monitor, forecast, and analyze revenue trends across ad sales, programmatic platforms, and affiliate networks.
- Identify opportunities to improve revenue generation and profitability by refining pricing models and optimizing yield strategies.
Strategic Insights:
- Identify emerging trends in digital advertising and commerce and recommend innovative monetization strategies.
- Support new product development and go-to-market strategies with pricing and yield analysis.
Adhoc Projects and Analysis:
- Run any ad-hoc reports/analysis as requested and needed by the business from time-to-time.
- Provide support to other sales leaders on as needed basis.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Analytics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in ad sales analytics, pricing strategy, or revenue management within digital media, e-commerce, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of digital advertising ecosystems, including programmatic platforms (Google Ad Manager, DSPs) and affiliate marketing strategies.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and platforms such as Excel, SQL, Google Analytics, and visualization tools like Tableau or Looker.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a data-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication skills to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Experience with Boostr for sales and revenue management.
- Media planning and forecasting experience, including managing ad inventory and aligning sales strategies with audience insights.
- Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation for pricing and placement strategies.
- Experience in content-to-commerce business models and understanding of audience behavior.
COMPENSATION
For residents of CT, NJ or NY the compensation for this role is 75,000.00 - 85,000.00. Factors used to determine the salary range for a given position may impact what salary within the stated range may be offered to any particular candidate (e.g., years of experience, level of education obtained, etc.).
This is an exempt role.
The target pay range for this role is between 75,000.00 - 85,000.00
This role is eligible for a 10% bonus.
