SUMMARY
The Operational Compliance Coordinator works to continually improve food safety and ensure operational compliance for Foodlink and member agencies. Working with the Director of Operational Compliance on the Food Bank team, they will lead projects that improve facility food safety, monitor food safe distribution, and develop and lead training and resources for internal and external use. The Operational Compliance Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring compliance with AIB food safety audits, as well as Ag and Markets compliance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Distribution Center Food Safety
- Oversee and lead efforts to prepare facility and staff for biannual AIB food safety audits
- Ensure compliance with Ag and Markets 20C and any future licensing the organization may pursue
- Regularly perform internal audits and document corrective actions related to food safety
- Effectively develop and implement training for staff on all food safety SOPs, including logs, documentation and sanitation requirements
- Continually provide training to Distribution Center staff in food safety and AIB standards
- Organize and document all required files and information required for food safety audits
- Collaborate with pest management vendor to mitigate product loss and ensure food safety compliance

SALARY AND BENEFITS
This is a full-time position paid on an hourly basis, ranging from $42,536-$53,435 annually (DOE) . Foodlink covers 100% of individual health and dental insurance with the ability to acquire family coverage with pretax dollars. In addition to generous paid time off (PTO), we observe 14 paid holidays throughout the year. Opportunity to contribute to a 401k retirement savings plan upon hire. Eligible for generous employer match after 1 year of service.
