Casino Cashiers bring excitement to our quality gaming facilities!

Casino Cashiers serve our valued guests and assist them with their video poker gaming needs. This position requires someone excited and enthusiastic because it directly contributes to helping us provide a quality, fun, and relaxing environment for our community. U Make Us Great!

What your role will involve!

• Greet and deliver prompt outstanding service by maintaining a positive and friendly demeanor and connecting with every guest,
• Exchange winning tickets that guests receive from video poker machines for precise cash payments,
• Make change for guests as needed,
• Balance cash funds by counting cash (breaking bundles) at the beginning and end of work shifts,
• Assist with the execution of all promotions and events,
• Continuously follow all state and federal regulations for alcohol, tobacco, age restricted products and gaming,
• Mix and serve drinks and/or alcoholic beverages to guests based on requests and cleans bar utensils as needed,
• Maintain daily, a safe and clean casino, restroom, and parking lot by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations, (and shower and laundry facilities with truck stops)
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and wipe down video poker machines with only isopropyl alcohol daily,
• Clean daiquiri machines weekly and refill product,
• Restock coolers and shelves with merchandise after each shift,
• Complete shift reports accurately, neatly, and timely as instructed.

• Permanent Full-time or part-time positions are available;
• Position is for specific casino location,
• Travel is not required for this position,
• Shiftwork is essential. You will have the opportunity to earn additional overnight pay,

• While not required, overtime is available when authorized,
• Salary range is competitive with the market rates based on the area,
• Must be 21 years of age or older to qualify for this position because of gaming regulations.

What we are looking for!

• Excellent communication and guest service skills,
• Friendly and positive attitude,
• Basic math skills,
• Attention to detail,
• Highschool diploma and prior experience is preferred but not required,
• Louisiana Responsible Vendor Permit and Video Poker Gaming clearance is required and may be obtained during training.

Most of the work is completed indoors in a casino setting. You can enjoy taking a break or working outdoors while keeping our parking lots attractive.

Essential Physical Requirements Include:

• Move about to all areas of the casino up to eight (8) hours to service guests,
• Position self to reach items overhead, at waist, and floor level to service guests and in the stocking and merchandising of casino inventory,
• Move up to fifty (50) pounds in emptying trash, cleaning, stocking, and merchandising of casino inventory,
• Ascend and descend a step, stool, or ladder in cleaning, stocking, and maintaining casino,
• Use currency counters and manually count large volumes of currency,
• Operate a cash register.
