Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lawn Care Crew Leader to oversee our lawn and landscape maintenance team. This role is essential in ensuring that our clients' outdoor spaces are maintained to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for lawn care and landscape maintenance. As the Crew Leader, you will be responsible for managing daily operations, providing guidance to team members, and ensuring the quality of work meets our company’s expectations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of lawn care technicians in various lawn maintenance tasks.
- Maintain and care for lawns, gardens, and other outdoor areas by performing tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing.
- Conduct landscape maintenance activities including clean ups, pruning, and mulching.
- Assist owner with tree care services including pruning and removal as necessary.
- Train new crew members on best practices in groundskeeping and safety protocols.
- Monitor the quality of work performed by the team to ensure high standards are met.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.
Experience
- Proven experience in lawn care or landscape maintenance is required.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Knowledge of horticulture practices including plant identification, pest management, and soil health is preferred.
- Familiarity with operating landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and trucks.
- Experience in tree care techniques is a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
