Podiatry experience is a plus ( but not required ). Candidates with medical, dental, or other relevant healthcare related practice management experience are encouraged to apply. - Previous experience in podiatry, medical, healthcare or practice management is a plus.
- Ability to quickly learn and master our Electronic Medical Records / Practice Management (EMR / PM) system and various other technology platforms. We use NextGen Office (NGO), which is similar to Athena, E-clinical works, and Epic.
- Knowledge of medical insurance, billing / coding familiarity, and revenue cycle management concepts.
- Insurance verification and surgery scheduling experience.
