Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our medical facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of medical office management, ensuring that our practice runs smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a proactive approach to managing staff, patient relations, and administrative tasks while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the medical office, ensuring optimal workflow and productivity.
  • Manage patient scheduling, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing wait times.
  • Oversee the maintenance of accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Implement and manage practice management systems.
  • Facilitate communication between healthcare providers, staff, and patients to enhance service delivery.
  • Enforce office policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance to foster a positive work environment.
  • Address patient inquiries and resolve any issues related to care or billing in a timely manner.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in medical management.

  • Proven experience in practice management within a medical office setting.
  • Strong knowledge of medical records management and critical care protocols.
  • Familiarity with managed care processes and insurance claims handling.
  • Proficiency in using practice management software.
