Overview
Foot Locker is seeking a Director of Public Relations who will lead consumer PR strategy and efforts inclusive of cultural and media partnerships and overall growth of the brand footprint in North America. This leader must be culturally connected and an avid follower/driver of sneaker culture and pop culture. will spearhead brand communication across North America across Foot Locker, Kids Foot Locker and Champs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage all aspects of PR plans, including brand media outreach, community activation and events – delivering a holistic annual strategy
- Plays strong, senior strategic role in helping to shape and optimize Foot Locker’s annual and seasonal omni-channel marketing plan as key PR/external communications leader
- Ensures big seasonal brand and product ideas are powerfully brought to life through PR/influencer activations by partnering with marketing/creative/styling/production teams
Qualifications
- Strong annual and seasonal PR/external communications/partnership/sponsorship marketing strategy development and execution experience and skills
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, understand business opportunities and recommend effective implementation plans that drive cultural relevance and results
- Creative problem-solving skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Strong collaborator internally: leading through influence, establishing relationships, and nurturing a network
- Desire to build a brand and aptitude for original, creative ideas, open-minded to new approaches
- Experience with influencer strategies and programs

The annual base salary range is $XXX-$XXXX This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
