What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavioral Health Technicians Manager position at Foothills at Red Oak Recovery?
Located on a 94-acre working horse farm, Foothills serves 14-year-old to 17-year-old male adolescents and their families. We teach a wide variety of coping strategies and emotional regulation skills to our clients, empower clients to take responsibility for their actions, promote and encourage clients to make healthy decisions and positively motivate clients by modeling healthy behavior.
We are looking for a Behavioral Health Technicians Manager to assist in the management and supervision of our behavioral health technicians.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the scheduling of the clinical technicians
- Ensure clinical technician staffing needs are met, maintain appropriate ratios and remaining within projected budget
- Complete, review, and approve bi-weekly timecards for clinical technicians
- Participate in the daily morning meeting of program and logistics department
- Assist with the editing of clinical teach growth books and clinical tech handbook as needed to accompany programmatic changes
- Encourage clinical technicians to complete growth books and review completed growth books with them
- Ensure the cleanliness and safety of all areas of base programming
- Participate in weekly community meetings for all clients
- Ensure that all client orientations are completed
- Work with the clinical team to ensure the highest standard of programming is made available
- Participate in and facilitate staff in-service trainings as indicated
- Assist with transports, new client outfitting, and doctor appointments as needed
- Serves in the role of primary responder as scheduled
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum two years’ experience in the field of substance abuse or a related Human Services field
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology or social work
- CADC-I
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a Human Services field
- Microsoft Office
