We are dedicated to providing exceptional food, service, and event experiences. We are looking for a Private Party, Events, and Catering Manager to lead and expand our private event and catering program.
Job Summary
The Private Party, Events, and Catering Manager oversees all aspects of private events and catering across multiple venues. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events while ensuring an exceptional client experience and maximizing revenue through strategic event management. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, problem solver, and leader who thrives in a fast-paced, hospitality-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Event & Catering Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all private event and catering inquiries.
- Work with clients to create customized event proposals, menus, and service plans tailored to their needs.
- Conduct venue tours, tastings, and consultations to finalize event details.
- Prepare and manage contracts, Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), and event timelines.
- Research market trends to refine pricing structures and enhance competitiveness.
- Oversee event setup, staffing, and logistics, ensuring smooth execution.
- Supervise front-of-house and back-of-house teams during events, providing real-time guidance.
- Coordinate with external vendors such as florists and rental companies and manage event supplies.
- Monitor live events to troubleshoot issues and ensure client satisfaction.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather client feedback and identify areas for improvement.
- Oversee billing and account receivables for all events.
Marketing & Sales Growth
- Work closely with the marketing team to promote event spaces and catering offerings.
- Assist with social media and email campaigns to drive event bookings.
- Maintain relationships with community organizations, local influencers, and third-party platforms to increase visibility.
- Curate event-related photos and materials for marketing use.
- Ensure brand alignment in all event-related communication.

Work Schedule & Expectations
- Full-time position, averaging 50 hours per week based on event schedules.
- Requires evening, weekend, and holiday availability.
- Work is performed across multiple venues, including both indoor and outdoor settings.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and move around event spaces for extended periods.
- Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds for event setup.
Qualifications
- Three or more years of experience in event planning, catering, or hospitality management.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent client service and communication skills for managing high-touch relationships.
- Ability to lead and coordinate teams across multiple venues.
Preferred but Not Required:
- Experience in restaurant or foodservice operations.
- Basic understanding of social media and email marketing.
- Familiarity with event management software such as TripleSeat or Caterease.
