Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable IT Support professional to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, a customer-oriented attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the IT infrastructure and ensuring seamless operation for our users.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to end-users via help desk services, resolving issues related to hardware, software, and networking.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems with operating systems, including Windows and Mac OS.
  • Manage firewall configurations and ensure network security protocols are followed.
  • Assist in the setup and maintenance of IT infrastructure components.
  • Support computer networking tasks including TCP/IP configurations and GPO management.
  • Document issues and solutions in the ticketing system for future reference.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to enhance service delivery and improve processes.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with users to understand their needs.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in technical support or help desk roles.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Mac OS) and computer networking principles.
  • Familiarity with firewall management and IT infrastructure best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills.
  • Experience with TCP/IP protocols is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant certifications in IT support or networking are a plus.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
